Dinarobin Hotel Golf & Spa hosted between 24 January and 1 February 2016 some 50 golf enthusiasts taking part in the 5th consecutive edition of ‘Les Doubles – Champagne Henriot’ tournament.
The former French Formula 1 champion, Jacques Lafitte was the patron of the 2016 edition of this competition open to teams of two amateur players, which offered some beautiful rounds of golf on two exceptional courses at Paradis Golf Club and Tamarina Golf & Hotel, each with a different character.
Throughout the week, the participants also enjoyed the host of treats on offer within Le Morne Peninsula, including high-end accommodation, a choice of 8 inventive restaurants, a wide range of land and water sports, two Spas by Clarins as well as some kilometers of fine sandy beaches.
The Doubles Henriot tournament was organised in partnership with the French event agency, Swing. Three of the four rounds were played on the spectacular course of Paradis Golf Club. This 5,899m, 18-hole par 72 course is only one in Mauritius to be set within the grounds of a resort and is tucked between sea and mountain, with 9 holes along one of the island’s most beautiful lagoons.
